Mortimer Smelter

Polygon Project Engineers used the approved fire rationale for the site and generated information for the submission and approval of the flammable liquids license for the Mortimer smelter site. The Smelter holds Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG), Diesel, Flammable Stores and paint stores. We undertook a Major Hazardous Installation (MHI) Study to understand the impact of the risk, facilitated the risks through the Anglo American Tool and sourced approval from the local council. The plans have been approved. We will source the license once the upgrades have been completed.
